I quite often think of the day of your passing in that dusty land of Afghanistan and it will never be forgotten. It warmed my heart to hear of your father opening a restaurant in Petawawa. I remember all of the times that you mentioned you wanted to do that. The next time I visit Petawawa you can be sure I will enjoy a meal there.

It has been 38 days now since we open the restaurant that you always dreamed to have in PET. It has been 38 days wishing you are here with me on the line, working one hand as we always wanted to be. I have been sharing this success with you at night, sitting in the jeep when I have the chance listening to our music and wishing you were here. The other day I couldnt help it from saying how much I miss you brother. I wanna say it this time, you were right about this little town. It isnt a ghost town. Everybody love the place, the food, the ambiance...Wish you were here with me. I have wrote something on the your group and I would love to share it with others too: The other day, I was driving the Jeep from Pet to Pembroke, went to get some stuff for your restaurant, I have filed the jeep with lots of stuff, I just smiled and then cryied wishing you were here to see how I abused it but then I said with a smile, you have done the same...Dam I miss you bro more than words can say...Missin you really hurts..

Just because we don't write often anymore, doesnt mean we haven't forgotten. It is the opposite actually, it's just that, it becomes hard to write and say what we feel. Time passes by, and life goes on as if we will find the answers or as if we will feel better about what has happened... but that time never comes. We are in the same spot as we were before, we are asking our selves the same questions, we are feeling the same sorrow and pain... we are still lost. Everyday i miss you more, and think about you...your memory is never gone, never fades. you live in the hearts of family, of friends, and the hearts of a nation.
